Shorefield Invest £1m

Shorefield Holidays invest £1m in new holiday homes for 2017

Shorefield Holidays is putting the finishing touches to its £1 million accommodation and facilities upgrade.

The company – which offers holiday home ownership at five parks across Hampshire and Dorset – has been acquiring new static caravans to offer new owners a superior experience.

The investment follows more than £5 million that’s already been spent on the parks over the last 5 years. Shorefield Holidays has seen significant growth in holiday home ownership across its parks in recent years. With the impact of the staycation trend and the increased cost of holidaying abroad following Brexit, they are anticipating this growth to continue, as Britons turn to second properties in which they can enjoy a break.
The new holiday homes – the majority of which will be situated at Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park  – are now ready for purchase. Brand new holiday homes will also feature at Swanage Coastal Park. All offer state-of-the-art features and the highest quality fixtures and fittings; furnished, decorated and equipped to the buyer’s taste.

There will also be new owner plots at Merley Court Holiday Park, near Wimborne, where Shorefield Holidays is also upgrading the on-site facilities for owners. The new facilities will include a spa treatment room, a sauna, hot tub and state-of-the-art gym, all set to open at Easter.

The company has also invested in the entertainment facilities and children’s play areas at Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park, which are included as standard with any holiday home purchase.

Shorefield Holidays Ltd Director, Lesley Lawrence, said: “During the banking crash many holiday parks stopped or cut-back on investing but Shorefield took a conscious decision to carry on. It’s paid off over the years and can be seen in our first-rate facilities today.

“Our investment for the 2017 season means that none of our caravan holiday homes will be more than three years old.”
